30th Annual Poetry Marathon & Benefit
Woodland Pattern's Poetry Marathon is an annual tradition for writers from Milwaukee and around the Great Lakes region. This year's event will be held virtually over the weekend of January 27th and 28th and feature 24 hours of five-minute performances by hundreds of participants from both Milwaukee and around the globe.
Funds raised from the Poetry Marathon will provide fuel for more than 400 free programs in literature and the arts in 2024, including new initiatives like the Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate program and the Milwaukee Emerging Poet Fellowship.
The Poetry Marathon is presented free to the public, with a suggested ticket donation of $10 for those in a position to give. Thank you for helping us invest in the lives, careers, and practices of poets year round!
