About Capital Campaign
Woodland Pattern has embarked on a capital campaign to fund the purchase and renovation of the building that has been its home since 1980—a place where countless artistic practices have been nurtured and lives inspired and changed. As of December 2018, we have purchased our Locust Street building. Our next step is to plan for renovations that will make our building fully accessible, take care of much-needed repairs, and expand our space to better accommodate demand for our programs and our ever-growing collection of small-press literature. To accomplish our goals, we are working with the architectural firm HGA, whose projects in Milwaukee include the Sherman Pheonix, Radio Milwaukee, and Milwaukee Public Library's Mitchell Street and East Side branches. For more information on this project, please contact Woodland Pattern's Executive Directors Jenny Gropp and Laura Solomon.
