$2m Capital Campaign

Woodland Pattern will soon move from its original location in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood to a new space with a much larger footprint at 347 East Ward Street in Bay View. Renovated in 2021, fully accessible, and tied to Wisconsin book arts for more than a century, this 8,896 sq. foot historic building will allow Woodland Pattern to exponentially expand its role as a literary leader in the Great Lakes region.

Quietly launched last October, Woodland Pattern’s Capital Campaign has already met the first third of its goal and closed on the building in December 2025. Upgrades will take place over the summer, with a grand opening expected by late October 2026.
