30th Annual Poetry Marathon & Benefit - Sponsor a Poet

Woodland Pattern's Poetry Marathon is an annual tradition for writers from Milwaukee and around the Great Lakes region. This year's event will be held virtually over the course of two days and feature 24 hours of five-minute performances by 240+ poets, from both Milwaukee and around the country. Participating poets have been asked to raise a minimum of $50 each in donations on their behalf, which will be matched by a presenting sponsor for each hour and further supported by major sponsorships. Together these funds will provide vital support for Woodland Pattern’s programming in literature and the arts in 2024, including for a new Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate program.
